Hi, I'm Pavel Akram

I'm a Senior AI Application Architect at IBM, based in Germany. Most days that means working closely with clients and turning ambiguous goals into AI solutions we can actually build, measure, and ship. I specialize in Microsoft Azure but I'm comfortable across cloud environments, with a focus on production-ready GenAI: RAG, agentic workflows, and solid LLMOps and MLOps practices.

I hold an M.Sc. in International Information Systems from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, where my thesis explored fine-tuning a large language model to detect hallucinations in generative question-answering. I learn continuously and like sharing the practical takeaways, which is exactly what this newsletter is for.
